Carolina Style Ribs

Courtesy of National Pork Board 4 Servings • 15 Min. Prep Time • 60 Min. Cook Time • 4 Hr. Marinate Time • Deli potato salad, carrot sticks, and vanilla ice cream sundaes.
Ingredients
2 c. cider vinegar
6 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
1-1/2 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2-1/2-3 lbs. country style pork ribs

Directions:

1. Combine ingredients except pork in glass bowl.

2. Add pork ribs to sauce and marinate for at least 4 hrs. in refrigerator.

3. Remove ribs and heat remaining barbecue sauce to a boil in a saucepan.

4. Prepare medium-hot fire and grill ribs over indirect heat for 30 min. per side, basting occasionally.

5. Serve remaining sauce with ribs.
